Players lead Expedition 33, a desperate mission to stop her. Combat blends traditional turn-based mechanics with real-time dodges and parries, emphasizing rhythmic attacks and weak-point targeting. The Chromatic Lancelier, an optional boss found early in the Spring Meadows, is a formidable green-hued foe. Players often stumble upon it near a larger Lancelier corpse, a surprising challenge for lower-level parties. Its glowing orb weak point is crucial, especially when targeted with Lune’s Ice Lance, as it's resistant to Earth attacks. The Lancelier employs swift and slow physical strikes, some with multi-hit combos, its weapon glowing red or yellow before high-damage attacks.
