Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG inspired by Belle Époque France, plunges players into a world where a mysterious Paintress erases people each year. Expedition 33 embarks on a desperate mission to end this cycle. Within this beautifully rendered world, players encounter the elusive Mime. In Esquie's Nest, a cavernous area integral to Act 1, one such Mime awaits. This region, where the party seeks Esquie’s aid, is a maze of narrow tunnels, open spaces with hanging lanterns, and grappling hook opportunities. The Mime is strategically hidden, requiring players to either spot it on a lower section near the water from an open cave area, or carefully jump down from Francois' Cave checkpoint. Clad in signature striped attire, this Mime, like others, begins combat by erecting multiple protective shields, demanding strategic use of defense-breaking skills. Its attacks, a "Hand-to-hand combo" and a "Strange combo" with an invisible hammer, test players' parrying and dodging abilities. Defeating this specific Mime yields the purely cosmetic "Baguette" outfit and haircut for Sciel, featuring a pinstriped shirt, suspendered pants, a baguette-holding cloth, and a red beret.
