Players should talk to everyone to deepen bonds and unlock new attacks. It’s also wise to upgrade weapons with the Curator. With new revelations, their mission shifts: hunt Axons to forge a weapon for the Monolith. The world opens up significantly, with Sirene and Visages as new destinations. Esquie’s new swimming ability also unlocks more areas in Old Lumière, perfect for extra loot. The path isn't linear, offering choices before confronting both Axons and progressing the story.
