Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG where players lead Expedition 33 to destroy the Paintress, a being erasing people with a decreasing cursed number. Joy Vale, a sub-area within Visages, offers a stark contrast to the game's grim premise. Accessed via a red-leafed path and a statue's mouth, this lush, vibrant zone presents a "happier" aesthetic. Players can save progress at an Expedition Flag and encounter enemies like the Contorsionniste and the Jovial Moissonneuse, whose defeat yields the Chapelim weapon. Notable collectibles include Healing Tint Shards and a Chroma Catalyst.
