Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG set in a Belle Époque-inspired fantasy world where a yearly event, the Gommage, erases people based on a decreasing number. Players lead Expedition 33 on a mission to destroy the Paintress. The game blends turn-based combat with real-time action elements like dodging and parrying. Within this world, the Pétank is a unique, spherical Nevron that acts as both a puzzle and a mini-boss. To initiate combat, players must strategically herd it onto a glowing altar. Pétanks actively evade players and have a turn limit before escaping, which can be delayed by stunning them. These creatures don't respawn and often yield valuable loot. The Pétank found in Sirène's Coliseum is the Blue variant, which starts with multiple shields and generates more each turn, requiring players to focus on multi-hit attacks or shield-breaking skills to efficiently defeat it within the time limit.
