Borderlands 4
Description
Borderlands 4, released on September 12, 2025, thrusts players onto the alien world of Kairos, a planet now revealed to the galaxy and subsequently oppressed by the tyrannical Timekeeper. This latest entry in the celebrated looter-shooter series, developed by Gearbox Software, boasts a seamless open-world experience, a stark departure from previous zone-based maps. Players choose from four new Vault Hunters, each with unique abilities, and join forces with the Crimson Resistance to liberate Kairos from its synthetic overlords. The game's narrative unfolds six years after Borderlands 3, featuring enhanced traversal mechanics like grappling, gliding, and climbing, all within a dynamic environment.
Amidst Kairos's varied and often dangerous terrains, players will find a welcome respite and strategic advantage in Safehouse: Grey Havenage. Nestled within the Terminus Range, near the Wreck of the Big Carl, Grey Havenage serves as a vital early-game safe zone, offering a crucial spawn point and fast-travel option. Its location, northwest of Checkpoint Vermillion, makes it accessible shortly after entering the Terminus Range from The Fadefields. Like other safehouses, it’s a hub of activity, featuring vending machines for essential supplies and acting as a quest giver for various side missions.
Gaining access to Grey Havenage is an engaging introduction to Borderlands 4's evolved gameplay. The safehouse door is initially sealed, requiring players to engage with the new traversal mechanics. The process involves locating a datapad by using climbing and gliding abilities to navigate nearby structures. Specifically, players will need to reach a building southwest of the safehouse, grapple to a higher vantage point, and then glide east to find the datapad. Once acquired, a nearby building to the northwest unlocks, leading players to the command console. A double-jump and glide maneuver is necessary to reach this area. Capturing the console officially unlocks Grey Havenage, rewarding players with 40 SDU points and establishing a valuable operational base that encourages mastery of the game's dynamic movement systems.
