Inside the Biosphere, the player navigates an industrial environment through platforming challenges, culminating in a confrontation with Captain Nickle and his squad in the Fertilizer Room. Following this intense firefight, Lysett directs the player to plant the seed. However, a malfunction floods the room with lethal gas, initiating a race against time. The player must destroy four pressure pipes to stop the gas flow, utilizing powerful air vents to reach elevated targets. This puzzle element injects a tense, timed challenge. The mission culminates with the seed rapidly growing into a grotesque tree that, instead of producing food, drops "Gun Fruits"—firearms.
