Iggy's Volcanic Castle - Super Guide, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

Description

As a dedicated and experienced gamer, I have played my fair share of Mario games. So when I heard about the new Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch, I was excited to jump into the colorful world of the Mushroom Kingdom once again. However, little did I know that I was about to embark on an adventure like no other, filled with fiery challenges and hilarious moments at Iggy's Volcanic Castle. First things first, let's talk about the game itself. Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a remastered version of the original Wii U game, with updated graphics and additional content. The game follows the classic Mario formula of rescuing Princess Peach from Bowser's clutches, but with a few twists and turns along the way. And one of those twists is Iggy's Volcanic Castle. As soon as I entered the level, I was immediately hit with a wave of heat. The bright red and orange color scheme, along with the lava pits and molten rocks, made me feel like I was really in a volcano. But the real star of the show was Iggy, the crazy Koopaling who was in charge of this fiery fortress. Iggy, with his wild green hair and maniacal laugh, was a force to be reckoned with. But he wasn't just a boss, he was also a tour guide. Yes, you read that right. Iggy had transformed his castle into a tourist attraction, complete with gift shops and selfie spots. And he took his job very seriously, making sure to point out every trap and obstacle with a dramatic flourish. But what made Iggy's Volcanic Castle truly stand out was the Super Guide feature. For those unfamiliar, the Super Guide allows players to skip a level if they are having trouble. But in Iggy's castle, the Super Guide was a little different. Instead of a helpful character showing you how to beat the level, it was Iggy himself, dressed in a tour guide outfit and providing sarcastic commentary. I have to admit, I may have purposely failed a few times just to see Iggy's reactions. His snarky remarks and exaggerated gestures had me laughing out loud. And even when I did manage to beat the level on my own, I couldn't resist watching the Super Guide version just for the entertainment value. But don't let Iggy's comedic antics fool you, the level itself was no joke. It was filled with tricky platforming sections, moving lava walls, and fire-spitting enemies. And just when I thought I had mastered one part, Iggy would throw in a new twist, like a giant rolling boulder or a maze of pipes. It was challenging, but in the best way possible. In the end, I did manage to rescue Princess Peach and defeat Iggy, but not without a few close calls and a lot of laughs. Iggy's Volcanic Castle truly added a unique and entertaining element to the game, making it one of my favorite levels in Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Overall, I highly recommend this game to any Mario fan looking for a good time. And if you happen to come across Iggy's Volcanic Castle, make sure to take a guided tour. You won't regret it. Just watch out for the souvenir shop, those prices are a real lava-robbery. More - New Super Mario Bros.
