CREATURE | High On Life

High on Life is a first-person shooter where players become an intergalactic bounty hunter tasked with saving Earth from the G3 alien cartel. The game is renowned for its distinctive humor, vibrant visuals, and the presence of sentient, talking weapons known as Gatlians. Creature, voiced by Tim Robinson, is one such Gatlian. A former inhabitant of Gatlus, he endured horrific experimentation by the G3, leaving him with severe memory loss and a uniquely altered existence. Despite his traumatic past, Creature exhibits a surprisingly cheerful and enthusiastic personality. He is acquired during a bounty mission, joining the player's arsenal with the peculiar ability to "birth" his children as ammunition. These small beings serve as his primary attack, swarming and disabling enemies, and can also interact with the environment. Creature’s alternate fire, "Birth Blast," allows him to temporarily turn enemies into allies. His dialogue is consistently wacky and humorous, reflecting his bizarre circumstances with an endearing, if unhinged, charm.
