*High on Life* is a vibrant, first-person shooter where players become an intergalactic bounty hunter saving Earth from a drug-dealing alien cartel. The game, co-created by Justin Roiland, is packed with humor and features talking weapons called Gatlians. Within this quirky world, the Fisherman is a memorable, albeit brief, character. Found in the bleak Slums, this alien is a study in despair, fishing in toxic sludge with no hope of a catch, and even contemplating drowning himself. Despite his own misery, he offers vital, albeit indirectly given, information about the bounty target 9-Torg, subtly guiding the player forward with darkly humorous dialogue.
