Found in a specific arena within The Droughts on Pandora, near Dumptruck's location, they were initially rare spawns but now appear consistently. Demoskaggons pose a unique challenge compared to regular Skags because they are immune to fire damage, forcing players to rely on other elemental types like cryo or radiation, or non-elemental weapons. Their critical hit spot is inside their mouth when they perform a taunting animation. Beyond being a standard enemy, Demoskaggons are significant as a dedicated source for specific legendary weapons, namely the Night Hawkin SMG and The Monocle sniper rifle, both with a notable drop chance. They also have a chance to drop a rare blue sniper rifle called "The Hunt(ed)." Additionally, there's a repeatable side mission, "Kill Demoskaggon," available from the Sanctuary notice board, which offers a monetary reward upon completion. During the "Bloody Harvest" seasonal event, a special Haunted variant of the Demoskaggon appears in The Droughts. Defeating this haunted version and the ghost that emerges is a specific requirement for the "Friends Don't Die" achievement, adding another layer to their role in the game.
