SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake offers a vibrant, dimension-hopping adventure. Players control SpongeBob and Patrick as they navigate fantastical "Wishworlds" created by a magical wishing bottle. The gameplay is a fun blend of platforming and exploration with the series' signature humor. In the Prehistoric Kelp Forest level, players encounter a sleeping Dorudon, a large, purple and blue whale-like creature with distinctive stegosaurus-like scales. This gentle giant, based on a real prehistoric whale ancestor, acts as a charming, albeit large, roadblock. To proceed, SpongeBob must awaken the Dorudon using jellyfish, which causes the creature to peacefully move aside, clearing the path and allowing the adventure to continue through this engaging prehistoric landscape.
