Well, it is, until you realize that Haydee is basically a walking puzzle. And not the fun kind of puzzle that makes you feel accomplished when you solve it, but the kind that makes you want to throw your controller across the room. But let's focus on MISSION 18 - AWAKENING. The DLC starts off with a bang, literally. Haydee is thrown into a room filled with enemies and you have to fight your way out. Easy enough, right? Wrong. The enemies in this game are relentless and have a seemingly endless amount of health. And to make matters worse, Haydee's dodge move feels more like a slight lean to the side rather than an actual dodge. So good luck trying to avoid getting hit. And just when you think you've finally reached the end of the maze, you come face to face with the boss. And let me tell you, this boss gave me more trouble than my high school math teacher. It's a giant robot that can shoot lasers and has a shield that is practically impenetrable. It took me numerous attempts and a lot of cursing to finally defeat it. But despite all the frustration, I have to admit, the game is addicting. There's something oddly satisfying about finally getting through a difficult puzzle or defeating a tough enemy. Plus, the graphics and soundtrack are top-notch, adding to the overall experience. Overall, Haydee May Cry 5 is a unique and challenging game that will have you feeling a range of emotions, from frustration to satisfaction. And MISSION 18 - AWAKENING is no exception.
