Far Future, Day 11 | Plants vs Zombies 2 | Walkthrough, Gameplay, No Commentary
Plants vs. Zombies 2
Description
Plants vs. Zombies 2, the beloved sequel to PopCap Games' 2009 tower defense hit, invites players on a whimsical time-traveling journey with Crazy Dave and his van, Penny. The core gameplay remains engaging: strategically deploy a variety of plants with unique abilities on a grid to fend off waves of zombified foes. Resources are gathered as "sun," and a crucial new element, "Plant Food," temporarily supercharges a plant's powers, adding a dynamic layer to defenses.
Day 11 in the Far Future world offers a unique twist on the established formula. This is not a typical defense level but a strategic puzzle operating under the "Last Stand" mechanic. Players are presented with a fixed sun budget of 2,750 and three Plant Food units at the outset. Once the battle commences, no new sun is generated, and no additional plants can be deployed. This fundamentally shifts the challenge from dynamic resource management to meticulous foresight and spatial planning. The Far Future's signature "Power Tiles" are central to success. These tiles, marked with symbols and colors, activate the Plant Food ability of all plants on matching tiles simultaneously when a single powered-up plant is activated.
The zombie threat in Day 11 consists of the Far Future's formidable robotic adversaries. Key enemies include the heavily armored Robo-Cone Zombie and the Shield Zombie, whose force fields negate many standard projectiles. This necessitates the selection of plants capable of penetrating such defenses. A well-executed strategy often involves grouping powerful, lane-clearing plants like the Laser Bean or Citron onto matching Power Tiles. The Laser Bean, with its piercing beam, is particularly effective. The Infi-nut's Plant Food ability creates a lane-wide force field, and the E.M.Peach offers a crucial temporary disable against the tough Robo-Cone Zombies. Day 11 serves as an excellent test of a player's understanding of plant synergies and their ability to anticipate enemy waves, rewarding careful planning with progress into the increasingly challenging Far Future.
