While not mandatory, players can complete challenges like "Vault Hunter on Wire" by walking across a chain or "I Can See Your Corpse from Here!" by finding telescopes. The encounter with Midgemong begins when players approach a roller door at the top of the camp, which the duo bursts through, accompanied by two Badass Marauders. Midgemong and Warmong each have separate health bars. A recommended strategy involves positioning oneself near the doorway where Midgemong appears, allowing players to target the boss as he jumps around without being charged. This spot also conveniently offers access to vending machines for health and ammunition. Players can choose to defeat the midget first, causing the bullymong to throw debris, or eliminate the bullymong first, leaving the midget to fight on foot like a Midget Goliath. Upon successful completion and turning in the mission to either the Southern Shelf bounty board or Sir Hammerlock, players receive 362 experience points and $39. Additionally, unique head customizations are awarded for each playable character, and Midgemong has a chance to drop the legendary KerBlaster assault rifle.
