Positioning oneself strategically just outside the doorway provides a safe vantage point to pepper them with shots while minimizing exposure to their powerful charges. Access to nearby vending machines also proves crucial for replenishing health and ammo during the fight. Defeating Midgemong also offers the "Midge-Mong Has No Friends" challenge, rewarding Badass Rank points for eliminating the duo before they can summon reinforcements. Success in the "Symbiosis" mission yields experience, money, and a unique head customization for the player's character.
