Borderlands 2 is a sprawling, first-person shooter looter, celebrated for its over-the-top action, distinctive art style, and darkly comedic writing. In "Totally Recall," Mr. Torgue tasks the Vault Hunter with a seemingly simple mission: recover tainted beer from Pyro Pete's Bar. Apparently, a diseased midget… well, you get the picture. The catch? The beer is currently in the possession of the bar's patrons, a collection of rowdy bikers. Mr. Torgue, in his infinite, explosion-loving wisdom, decides the best course of action is to *kill* the bandits to retrieve the tainted brew, rather than let them suffer from the poison. It makes absolutely no sense, and Torgue himself even acknowledges the flawed logic, but hey, that's half the fun. The mission boils down to entering Pyro Pete's Bar and unleashing mayhem on the bikers, collecting the twenty-one bottles of "bad beer" that they drop upon their demise. After collecting every tainted brew, the Vault Hunter delivers them to bounty board, reciving XP, money and green rarity weapon, and Mr. Torgue is left pondering the nonsensical nature of his own plan.
