One of the many optional missions scattered throughout the world of Borderlands 2 is "Creature Slaughter: Medicine" (Спасение Животных: Лекарство), given by a friendly skag named Dukino. This mission becomes available after completing the "Once and for All King of the Slab" quest. The task involves helping this injured and hungry skag pup. First, the player must free Dukino from a cage located near the railway tracks in Lynchwood. This is done by breaking or activating the chain on the cage. Once freed, the next step is to find the medicine for the pup. This medicine is found on the roof of a pharmacy building marked with a "Drugs/Rx" sign, located roughly two rows away from the railway tracks. Accessing the roof requires climbing a ladder on a neighboring building and jumping across. After obtaining the medicine, the player must return it to Dukino. While the mission objectives list collecting food for Dukino, this action serves as a transition to the subsequent mission in the chain, "Creature Slaughter: Food." Completing "Creature Slaughter: Medicine" triggers a notification: "You have cured the skag. However, he still looks a little hungry..." The quest is turned in to Dukino himself. The reward for this mission varies depending on the player's level. At level 25, the reward is 5716 experience points and 765 dollars. At higher levels (43-46), the reward increases to 16855 experience points and 8264 dollars, and at level 67, it's 21757 experience points and 89293 dollars. A humorous detail is the in-game description for the "Medicine for pups," which states, "Guaranteed to cure all ailments."
