The player must repeatedly push the cart, activate switches, and fend off creatures as they make their way to the crusher room. Upon reaching the crusher, the cart is pushed onto a conveyor belt. Activating the crusher triggers another enemy encounter while the machine processes the mineral. The reward for this effort is five pieces of raw Eridium, a valuable currency used for upgrades and other purposes. Completing the mission grants experience points and additional Eridium, and importantly, leaves the traversed airlock doors permanently open, facilitating future navigation of the Caustic Caverns. A humorous reference to the British sitcom "'Allo 'Allo!" is also embedded in Amelia Harchek's dialogue, adding a layer of wit characteristic of Borderlands 2.
