Following the defeat of the Skrakks, the mission directs the player to Frostburn Canyon to confront "Zed's Abomination," Spycho. This creature is a grotesque fusion of a Psycho and a Spiderant. Spycho is a fast and dangerous enemy, employing powerful ground slams and a long-range pounce. Successfully defeating Spycho requires targeting its thorax for critical hits and navigating the challenging terrain of Frostburn Canyon. Upon eliminating both the Skrakks and Spycho, the player returns to Dr. Zed in Sanctuary to complete the mission. The rewards are substantial, including experience points and Eridium. The mission's conclusion includes a humorous nod to the character of Dr. Ned. Monster Mash (Part 3) provides a challenging and entertaining end to Dr. Zed's creature-centric quests, showcasing some of the more bizarre creations found on Pandora and highlighting the often-questionable nature of Zed's medical endeavors.
