Rayman Legends is a wonderful 2D platformer from Ubisoft Montpellier, known for its amazing art style and fun gameplay. The story starts with Rayman and his friends taking a long nap, only to wake up and find their world overrun by nightmares. They have to rescue captured Teensies and bring peace back to the Glade of Dreams. The game is super colorful, with lots of different worlds to explore, each inspired by fairy tales and myths. The gameplay in Rayman Legends is all about fast, fluid jumping and running, and you can even play with up to four friends. The main goal is to save the Teensies hidden in each level, which unlocks new areas. The game also has these incredible musical levels where you have to jump and slide to the beat of songs like "Black Betty," which is a really unique and exciting experience. One of the coolest parts of Rayman Legends is the "Hi-Ho Moskito! - Jibberish Jungle" level. This level is really special because it completely changes the gameplay. Instead of just running and jumping, you ride on a big mosquito, flying through the jungle. It turns into a side-scrolling shooter! You can shoot little projectiles or inhale enemies and spit them back out as a bigger attack. The level looks absolutely stunning, with the signature Rayman hand-drawn art style making the jungle vibrant and alive. As you fly through the jungle, you have to dodge obstacles and fight off all sorts of flying and ground enemies. Later, you go into a cave with new dangers, like hunters shooting missiles. The end of the level features an awesome boss fight against a giant bird. What's really clever is that you can inhale the bombs the bird throws and shoot them back at it, which is a really fun way to defeat it. In Rayman Legends, instead of rescuing Electoons like in the older game, you're freeing Teensies from cages. The music in this level is also fantastic, perfectly matching the fast-paced flying action and making the whole experience feel even more adventurous and joyful.
