From the Ground Up is a pivotal story mission in Borderlands 3, set in the chaotic environment of Covenant Pass. Players join Lilith in a race to recover a long-lost Vault Map, which has resurfaced amidst the turmoil caused by the Children of the Vault cult. The mission tasks players with equipping a grenade mod, securing a propaganda center, and ultimately locating the Sun Smasher chief, Vaughn. Throughout the mission, players engage in combat, clear areas of enemies, and navigate through the dangers of Pandora, all while uncovering important plot details.
