Borderlands 4, dropped in September 2025, is the latest wild ride from Gearbox, throwing players onto the alien world of Kairos to take down the tyrannical Timekeeper. Your goal is to team up with Amara and storm the Moonfall Eridium refinery, a stronghold of the despotic Order. Expect to fight through swarms of their soldiers and heavily shielded elites as you navigate the refinery’s dig sites. The mission throws a bunch of objectives at you, from taking down a power generator to smashing refinery processors with epic ground slams. There's even an optional task to hunt down seven Eridium mining drones for extra loot. The finale is pure Borderlands chaos as you try to shatter the refinery core while constantly fending off waves of enemies. Completing "Crystal Brawl" nets you a sweet reward package, including experience, cash, Eridium, an Epic shield, and the "Augered Reality" cosmetic for your Vault Hunter, all while pushing the story forward and introducing you to the formidable Amara.
