In Part 2, Lysett plans to plant this seed in the Darkloam Biosphere, now controlled by a faction called "The Order." To gain access, players must first create a diversion by vandalizing a propaganda device, drawing out The Order's forces for a satisfying firefight. Inside the Biosphere, a shift to platforming challenges awaits as players navigate the industrial facility. The mission culminates in a frantic battle against Captain Nickle and his squad before Lysett's seed is introduced to the fertilizer machine. A classic Borderlands malfunction ensues, flooding the room with poisonous gas. This triggers a thrilling puzzle where players must destroy four pressure pipes to stop the gas, utilizing powerful air vents to reach elevated targets while under pressure. The climax delivers a signature punchline: instead of food, the giant tree that sprouts from the seed produces literal "Gun Fruits," showering the player with loot. Lysett declares it a success, awarding the player with valuable rewards and leaving a fresh arsenal of weapons to collect.
