Rayman Legends is a really cool 2D platformer game from 2013. It’s a sequel to Rayman Origins and it’s full of colorful graphics and fun gameplay. The story starts with Rayman and his friends taking a long nap, but when they wake up, bad guys called nightmares have taken over their world and kidnapped their friends, the Teensies. So, Rayman and his pals, including a helpful fly named Murfy, have to go on an adventure through paintings that lead to different worlds to save everyone and bring peace back to their land. The game is known for its smooth controls and lots of levels to play, including special music levels where you have to jump and move to the beat of famous songs. One really neat part of Rayman Legends is a level called "Swimming with the Stars." This level is actually from the older game, Rayman Origins, and it’s brought back in Rayman Legends. It takes place underwater in some really pretty caves. Some parts of the caves are bright and safe, but others are super dark and dangerous. In the dark parts, there are these scary tentacles that will grab you if you're not careful. To get through the dark areas, you have to use little glowing creatures called firefly krill to make a light around you, or follow bigger fish that have lights on them. It’s a really clever way to make the underwater swimming challenging and exciting, mixing peaceful exploring with moments of real tension. The music in the level also changes from happy in the bright spots to spooky in the dark, which makes it even more immersive. Even though it’s an older level, it fits perfectly into Rayman Legends, showing how well-designed the original was.
