Rayman Legends is a beautiful and very fun 2D platformer. It's like a big, colorful painting that you get to jump around in. The story starts with Rayman and his friends taking a super long nap. When they wake up, bad guys have messed up their home, the Glade of Dreams, and taken lots of little guys called Teensies. So, Rayman and his buddies, like Globox and a helpful fly named Murfy, have to go on an adventure, jumping through magical paintings to save the day. One of the coolest parts of Rayman Legends is the "Toad Story" world, and the very first level there is called "Ray and the Beanstalk." It’s inspired by the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk, but with Rayman's unique style. When you enter this world, you're immediately greeted by giant beanstalks reaching high into the sky, growing out of a swampy area below. The art is stunning, with everything looking hand-drawn and vibrant. You can see distant castles and other beanstalks, making the world feel huge and magical. The gameplay in "Ray and the Beanstalk" is really neat. You get to use gusts of wind to float and glide up these massive beanstalks. It makes you feel really light and agile as you hop from platform to platform. The level design is smart, mixing up going up with some sideways movement too. Along the way, you’ll meet some silly enemies called Toads, who try to stop you. There are also secret areas to find, which is always exciting, and you need to collect lots of shiny Lums and rescue all the hidden Teensies. The music is also really catchy and fits perfectly with the adventurous feeling of climbing a giant beanstalk. It’s a level that feels both familiar because of the fairy tale and brand new because of Rayman's charm.
