Rayman Legends

ລາຍລະອຽດ

Rayman Legends is a wonderfully bright and creative 2D platformer, a game that really shows off the fantastic artistry of Ubisoft Montpellier. Released in 2013, it’s the fifth main game in the Rayman series, picking up right after *Rayman Origins*. It builds on what made its predecessor great, bringing us more amazing content, smoother gameplay, and visuals that are just a joy to behold. The story kicks off with Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies taking a century-long nap. While they’re snoozing, nightmares start to creep into the Glade of Dreams, snatching up the Teensies and causing all sorts of trouble. Thankfully, their pal Murfy wakes them up, and it’s up to our heroes to rescue the captured Teensies and bring peace back to their world. The adventure takes them through a variety of enchanting places, all accessed through cool paintings that act as portals to new worlds. The gameplay in *Rayman Legends* feels incredibly fluid and fast-paced, just like in *Rayman Origins*. You can even team up with up to three other friends for cooperative fun, exploring levels packed with secrets and goodies. The main goal is to save all the Teensies you can find, which then opens up new worlds and challenges. You can play as Rayman, Globox, and a whole bunch of unlockable Teensie characters, including the brave Barbara the Barbarian Princess. One of the absolute highlights of *Rayman Legends* are its musical levels. These are rhythm-based stages set to awesome covers of famous songs. You’ll be jumping, punching, and sliding along to the beat, which makes for a truly exciting and unique experience. Murfy, the little greenfly, is also a big help in certain levels. In some versions of the game, a second player can even control Murfy directly, using touch screens to cut ropes, move platforms, and distract enemies. There’s a huge amount of content to dive into, with over 120 levels. This includes 40 remastered levels from *Rayman Origins* that you can unlock by finding Lucky Tickets. These tickets can also get you Lums and more Teensies. Many levels have tough "Invaded" versions where you have to race against the clock. Plus, daily and weekly online challenges let you compete with others for high scores. "Dragon Soup," a level found in *Rayman Legends*, is a truly memorable culinary adventure. It's part of the "Back to Origins" mode, which brings back remastered levels from *Rayman Origins*. "Dragon Soup" is the fifth level in the Gourmand Land world, throwing you into a fiery, food-themed environment called the Infernal Kitchens. This level is a perfect example of the series’ clever and challenging design. The theme of "Dragon Soup" is a playful yet dangerous kitchen. It's a surreal place filled with bubbling lava pots, unstable kitchen tools, and mischievous food enemies that keep you on your toes. The visuals are stunning, with warm, fiery colors mixed with cooler blues and greens. The background is packed with detailed illustrations of giant kitchen equipment and fantastical ingredients, really pulling you into this world of food. The level is a linear path through eight distinct sections, each offering unique platforming challenges. You’ll be bouncing off jumping beans over fiery soup bowls, dodging rotating pepper shakers, and evading angry, fire-breathing chili peppers. The main foes here are the Baby Dragon Chefs, small, energetic dragons that add to the chaotic fun. The platforming demands precise timing and quick reflexes as you jump, wall-jump, and attack your way through the hazardous surroundings. "Dragon Soup" also hides two secret areas, rewarding players who explore with hidden Teensies to save. One secret area involves riding a mosquito, skillfully navigating through fireballs and flames. The other is a vertical challenge requiring timed wall-jumps to defeat a group of Baby Dragon Chefs and rescue another trapped Teensie. These hidden spots encourage exploration and are key for anyone aiming for 100% completion. A notable point about the "Back to Origins" levels like "Dragon Soup" is the absence of Murfy’s gameplay mechanics, which are common in the main game. While Murfy often helps by cutting ropes or moving platforms in new *Rayman Legends* levels, he’s not present here. This gives "Dragon Soup" a more traditional platforming feel, relying solely on your direct control of your character. This difference makes these "Back to Origins" levels a refreshing change and a nice nod to the gameplay of *Rayman Origins*. The sound in "Dragon Soup" is just as lively as its visuals. The music for the Gourmand Land world is a vibrant mix of styles, with hints of Afro-Latin rhythms, bossa nova, and even mariachi trumpets. This energetic and festive music perfectly matches the fast-paced action, creating a joyful and engaging atmosphere. While the specific track for "Dragon Soup" is part of this larger collection of festive tunes, its upbeat tempo and playful instruments are a big part of ...
