*Stray* is a beautiful adventure game where players embody a lost cat navigating a richly detailed, decaying cybercity. Separated from its family, the feline protagonist tumbles into a world devoid of humans, populated by sentient robots and dangerous creatures. This walled metropolis, inspired by Kowloon Walled City, offers a vertical playground of neon alleys and forgotten depths. The Flat, encountered early in the game, is a pivotal location within the Dead City. This apartment serves as the cat's entry into a more populated area and, more importantly, the site of its first meeting with B-12, the helpful drone. Inside, the apartment reveals clues about its past inhabitants, a Scientist and potentially a robot Companion, hinting at the city's history. This humble dwelling is where B-12, previously a consciousness within the city's network, is discovered and activated, marking the beginning of an inseparable partnership and the cat's quest to reach the Outside.
