The Chromatic Hexga, a boss in the Stone Wave Cliffs Cave, is a massive rock entity adorned with hexagonal crystals. It's weak to Ice but resistant to Fire. The core mechanic revolves around its back crystals, which cycle through white (normal), yellow, and red (invulnerable) power stages. To damage the Hexga, players must deplete its shields, then target the crystals with free-aim shots to prevent or break its red invulnerability, ideally causing it to skip turns. The Hexga employs physical attacks like "Shield-powered combo" and "Expedition attack," while also using abilities like "Power up," "Strange power," and "Draw strength" to gain shields and empower its crystals.
