I recently played Let's Play - Wally, a horror game developed by GarlicBread Studios and available on the popular gaming platform ROBLOX. As a fan of horror games, I was excited to dive into this game and see what it had to offer. However, after playing the first scene, I was left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. The game starts off with a short cutscene, setting the creepy atmosphere and introducing the main character, Wally. The graphics and animations were decent, but nothing stood out as particularly impressive. The voice acting was also lackluster and didn't add much to the overall experience. Once the gameplay started, I found myself in a dark and eerie forest, tasked with finding five missing pages. The objective seemed simple enough, but the execution fell flat. The controls were clunky and unresponsive, making it difficult to navigate through the environment. The lack of a map or any sort of direction added to the frustration. As I stumbled through the forest, I encountered a few jump scares, but they were predictable and not very scary. The lack of variety in the scares and the repetitive nature of the gameplay quickly became tedious. The sound effects and music also didn't add much to the atmosphere and felt like an afterthought. One aspect of the game that did stand out was the use of puzzles. However, they were too easy and didn't require much thought or effort to solve. It felt like they were added as a last-minute addition to try and add some depth to the game. Overall, Let's Play - Wally was a disappointing experience. The lack of originality and effort put into the game was evident in every aspect. From the clunky controls to the unimpressive scares, there was nothing that stood out or made me want to continue playing. I would not recommend this game to anyone looking for a truly immersive and terrifying horror experience.
