Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG set in a Belle Époque-inspired world, where players lead Expedition 33 to stop the Paintress from erasing humanity. Combat blends traditional turns with real-time dodges and parries, emphasizing player skill and character synergies. The Dualliste is a formidable two-phase boss found in the Forgotten Battlefield. This slender, multi-armed Nevron, wielding a long sword, is weak to Light-based attacks, making Verso crucial. Phase one features quick strikes, combos, and an area-of-effect "Expedition strike." Upon entering phase two, the Dualliste summons a second sword, becoming more aggressive. Attacks like "Swift attack" and "Combo attack" are extended, requiring precise timing and special counters. The "Expedition strike" hits twice, and a new "Stormblood" move sees a blood clone join the assault. A critical "Inverted" status in low health reverses healing. Defeating the Dualliste rewards players with Chroma, Catalysts, the "Dualiso" weapon, and the "Combo Attack I" Pictos, vital for progression and character customization.
