Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG with real-time combat elements, set in a Belle Époque-inspired world where a mysterious Paintress annually erases people. Expedition 33 aims to stop her. The Crulers, formidable foes, are large, club-wielding creatures with rough, dark skin and glowing red patches. Their weak spot is a black hole on their left shoulder, and they are susceptible to Lightning Damage. One notable boss fight takes place in the Coastal Cave. After unlocking Esquie’s swim ability, players encounter two Nevron blacksmiths, an Unfinished Cruler and an Unfinished Bruler. Agreeing to their "demonstration" triggers a fight against this duo. Defeating them not only rewards Chroma Catalyst x3 and Recoat x1 but also turns the Cruler and Bruler into merchants, with the Unfinished Cruler selling Level 12 weapons like the Lanceram, Lighterim, and Seeram.
