Rayman Origins is a vibrant platformer known for its beautiful hand-drawn graphics and challenging levels. Within the game, "Scuba Shootout" stands out as a unique Flying Moskito level, plunging players into the depths of the ocean. As the name suggests, much of the level takes place underwater, presenting a distinct set of challenges. Players hitch a ride on Moskito and descend, navigating through seaweed and battling Electric Jellyfish. Spikes line much of the environment, and Pufferfish make an appearance, which can't be inhaled. Pink Eels and falling rocks further complicate the descent. The level's most daunting section involves a trip into a dark abyss. Here, Darktoon Hands threaten, necessitating the use of Sea Fireflies and Glowfish for protection. The dim light makes the collection of Lums, particularly those hidden in seaweed, significantly difficult. Electric Jellyfish and Red Fish also populate this area. Emerging from the abyss, players face a final gauntlet of falling rocks before returning to the surface. A subsequent section without Moskito leads to a hidden cage with an Electoon.
