Yoshi's Woolly World is a charming platformer where everything, including Yoshi himself, is made of yarn. World 5 culminates in a showdown within Snifberg the Unfeeling's Castle, a level filled with icy walkways, precarious chasms, and treacherous rolling ice blocks, all patrolled by frosty foes. The final challenge is Snifberg the Unfeeling himself, an Ice Snifit enlarged by Kamek. The battle unfolds on a platform above a pit of icy spikes. Snifberg attacks by kicking ice blocks, spitting Shy Guys, and launching spiked ice balls. Yoshi must dodge these attacks, using the Shy Guys for yarn balls. To defeat him, Yoshi needs to pelt Snifberg with yarn balls until he is stunned then ground-pound him onto the spikes. After the first successful hit, Snifberg retreats to the background and sends out pairs of icy balls. The pattern becomes more complex, with towers of ice and spiked balls. Each time, after surviving the onslaught, Yoshi must stun and ground-pound Snifberg. After the third hit, Snifberg is finally defeated.
