Yoshi's Woolly World is a charming platformer where everything, including Yoshi and the environment, is made of yarn. Bunson the Hot Dog's Castle is the setting for a fiery boss battle against the eponymous Bunson. The level leading up to Bunson is a gauntlet of rising platforms, Shy Guys, and several smaller Hot Dog enemies, foreshadowing the main event. Flames are a constant hazard, requiring careful timing and nimble jumps. Two checkpoints offer respite before the final challenge. The Bunson battle begins innocently enough, with Bunson as a small puppy, before Kamek's magic transforms him into a giant, fiery Hot Dog. The battle unfolds in phases. First, Bunson breathes fireballs and jumps across the arena. Yoshi must strike Bunson's grey head with a yarn ball, causing him to overheat and expose his tongue, which must then be Ground Pounded. Bunson then jumps to the background and breathes long bursts of fire, before repeating the head-attack/tongue-pound sequence. Finally, Bunson jumps back into the arena and hops back and forth, dropping blue balls. After repeating the attack sequence one last time, the fight is won!
