An optional, equally absurd objective involves finding a pornographic magazine for Scooter's backup plan. This juxtaposition of traditional romantic endeavors with the grim realities of Pandora is a prime example of the game's humor. Upon returning with the photographs and potentially the magazine, Scooter presents his completed poem. The resulting verse is a masterpiece of unintentional dark comedy, comparing Daisy to the photographed macabre scenes and culminating in a darkly morbid declaration of his affection. Delivering this "poem" to Daisy in Sanctuary results in her expressing polite discomfort, excusing herself, and a gunshot being heard from behind the door she exits through. The mission concludes with the player informing Scooter of Daisy's rather definitive rejection. The mission complete text, "Everyone's a critic," perfectly punctuates the grim hilarity.
