Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a wildly creative downloadable content expansion for Borderlands 2, transporting players into a fantasy tabletop game orchestrated by the eccentric Tiny Tina. While retaining the core looter-shooter mechanics, it overlays them with a world of knights, dragons, and magic, all filtered through Tina's unique brand of chaotic humor. Within this fantastical realm is the side quest "Tree Hugger," offered by Aubrey the Teenage Treant. Aubrey, a monotone, apathetic Treant, tasks the player with protecting her forest from orc lumberjacks. She gives the player a sapling to plant in the heart of the orc camp. This initiates the first phase of the mission: defending the fragile sapling as it grows. Orcs will pour out of their huts, attempting to destroy the sapling, requiring the player to fend them off. Fire weapons are particularly effective against the flesh-based orcs. Upon full growth, the sapling transforms into Mosstache, a formidable Treant with a mossy moustache. Mosstache's objective is clear: destroy the orc logging operation by smashing their huts. The player must then act as an escort, protecting the lumbering Mosstache as it systematically destroys six orc huts. Each destroyed hut spawns more orcs, including tougher Badass variations, which the player must quickly eliminate to prevent them from overwhelming Mosstache. Once all huts are destroyed, Mosstache's task is complete, and it expires. Returning to Aubrey finishes the quest, rewarding the player with experience, money, and loot.
