Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG set in Belle Époque-inspired France, where players lead Expedition 33 to stop the Paintress from erasing humanity through a yearly "Gommage" event. Anger Vale is a perilous sub-region of Visages, a crucial area players visit to weaken the Mask Keeper, the main Axon, before confronting Sirene. Characterized by its blue-lit caverns and rocky facades, this vale culminates in a boss battle against the Seething Boucheclier, a stronger variant of a standard enemy, triggered by correctly answering a riddle with "Anger." Defeating it yields Maelle’s “Clierum” weapon. The vale teems with Nevrons like Bouchecliers and Moisonneuses, all weak to Dark and Fire.
