To pierce this veil of obscurity, you'll often turn to the Plantern, a plant that illuminates the immediate surroundings, or the Blover, which can temporarily blow the fog away. The choice of how to manage this limited visibility is key. The fog isn't the only new trick up this level's sleeve. Behold the Balloon Zombie, a hovering menace that laughs in the face of your ground-based defenses. It floats above many of your plants, a frustrating aerial threat. Thankfully, the Cactus is your aerial ace, its spikes designed to pop those pesky balloons. The Blover can also be employed to clear the screen of these airborne pests. If you've got a Cattail in the pool, its homing projectiles can also bring these floaters back down to earth. Building a strong sun economy, often with Sun-shrooms during the night setting, is crucial. Early defenses might rely on cost-effective Puff-shrooms and Sea-shrooms while you amass resources for more formidable plants.
