Rayman Legends is a fantastic 2D platformer, a real visual treat from Ubisoft Montpellier. It's packed with creative levels and smooth gameplay. The story picks up with Rayman and friends waking from a long nap to find their world, the Glade of Dreams, overrun by nightmares and the Teensies kidnapped. Guided by Murfy, they jump into paintings that act as portals to new worlds, all to rescue the Teensies and bring back peace. The game boasts a huge amount of content, over 120 levels, including some awesome musical stages where you have to move to the beat of catchy tunes. There's also cooperative multiplayer, so you can play with friends. Among the many brilliant stages in Rayman Legends, the "Hi Ho Moskito!" level is a true highlight. This level, a returning gem from *Rayman Origins*, takes a delightful detour from the usual running and jumping. Instead, players find themselves soaring through the air, riding atop a friendly, oversized Moskito. It's a fantastic change of pace, transforming the gameplay into an exciting aerial shooter. You navigate through the arid Desert of Dijiridoos, shooting projectiles from the Moskito's snout or inhaling smaller foes to use them as ammunition. You have to dodge all sorts of airborne enemies, from pesky flies to tougher opponents armed with spiky hats and homing missiles. What makes this level even better in *Rayman Legends* is the addition of collectible Teensies, which adds an extra layer of challenge and replayability. The visuals are also stunning, with improved lighting and sharper graphics that make the desert landscape pop. The musical score, by Christophe Héral, is as whimsical and energetic as ever, perfectly matching the fast-paced action. The level culminates in a memorable boss fight against the colossal Boss Bird, a multi-stage encounter that requires you to inhale and shoot back helicopter bombs.
